Heart and Eye check

Yesterday, Xenia and Erin had their heart check by Dr Volmar and 

both had 0 points.  Also my whippet , who had her Eye test, came out clear.

It was a big relieve to me they were all ok

Results CAC-CACIB Show Leeuwarden
on the 24th of March we had a CAC-CACIB show in Leeuwarden (NL) the judge was Mr. T.Pehar (HG)
In the young dog klas my female Atractive Alisa got first excellent + youth CAC and res. CAC She is now Dutch Youth Ch.
Berryl Oet Kepel got 2nd excellent.

.Yesterday we had an Int'l show in Leiden. 13 Irish Wolfhounds were present.
As a judge we had Mrs Stuifbergen-Hoetjes. Xenia was entered in the open class and she became best of breed. This CAC made her Dutch Champion.
I am really proud about this victory because Xenia did beat the most winning male during this show. Also my young girl Atractive Alisha did well, she was 1 excellent and Youth CAC.

Pregnant,

Today we did an echo on Ch. Femme Fatale to see if she is pregnant and she is!!
OK it will not be a big litter but still I am very happy for her to get a litter.
This litter will be born around 15 of April 2008. Femke is mated by Embassador of First Aveneu.
I am really excited about this combination.

Angie´s first succes at Groningen Dogshow

Yesterday I went to an Int'l Dog show in Groningen.
I knew there should be 3 IW coming from Sweden but I still hoped the judge liked Xenia best.
If Xenia should get the CAC she would become Dutch Ch. ..
From previous judging I saw from this judge(L.Miklos from Hongary)I liked what I had seen a lot.
At the show I noticed that the dogs from Sweden were not there. to my opinion the other bitch that was present, Xenia must be able to beat.
Xenia took her class but did not got excellent but very good?? I was so surprised, especially when I read the critique about her, weak top line too much angles in the rear but also very good strong movement.
Something that is not possible!! OK Xenia just had a litter but she surely did not deserved a very good!
My young girl Atrctive Alisha (Angie) from the youth class got jgd CAC + CAC and was BOS so I have nothing to complain. Still I think the judging was not what I expected it too be and I must admit I was very disappointed.
I like my young girl but still I think Xenia should have beaten her. Like I said I always respected the judging of Mr. Miklos but now........ I am not so sure anymore if I will feel the same about his judging in the future
